Dermarollers cause micro tears in the skin causing irritation, a comprised skin barrier and in some unfortunate cases even scarring.

The use of a microneedling pen creates micro-punctures. It penetrates the skin at a 90 degree angle and we can validate the needle depth, so we know how far into the skin we are actually treating.

This process triggers a healing response in the body which stimulates new collagen and elastin fibres, treating a range of complex concerns such as pigmentation, signs of ageing, scarring etc.
