What is the Obagi Blue Radiance Peel?

A quick, superficial salicylic acid-based facial peel that exfoliates and helps improve overall complexion. It provides tighter, smoother, brighter-looking skin after just 1 use. A series of 4 – 6 peels provide the best results. Usually combined with Dermalux LED Light therapy, a non-invasive treatment that harnesses the power of LED light to accelerate the skin’s natural rejuvenation and repair processes.

The Obagi Radiance Peel is used to treat a variety of skin concerns and skin types, this quick and easy in clinic procedure allows us to effectively combat complex skin complaints with little to no downtime.

Anyone who wishes to have more radiant, tighter complexion with minimal downtime. The treatment works well for oily skins, acne-prone skins, reducing large pores, helping to reducing scarring and fine line. The salicylic acid helps to reducing the oil within the skin to clear the pore pathway reducing congestion and smoothing skin tone. Obagi’s peel is suitable for all ethnicities with no prior skin preparation required of the patient.

The Obagi Blue Radiance Peel is a Salicylic Acid based peel that is gentle, effective and has very little down time post treatment. Following the treatment you will leave the clinic with glowing skin!

Immediately post treatment there may be some slight redness within some individuals which subsides within an hour. Any dryness is addressed by applying moisturiser as needed but this varies from one individual to another dependent on your skin type.

At about day three some patients may experience some light peeling as the outer skin layer is exfoliated.  This again can be treated with moisturiser. 

You can have an Obagi Blue Peel Radiance peel every two-four weeks apart.  The peel is effective after only one treatment but it is advised for at least three to see the best improvements.

Maintenance Peels are advised every 3-6 months. Always remember to use an SPF to protect your skin from UV rays when undergoing in clinic chemical exfoliations.
